JB s Watering Hole (aka Amigos), 820-2071, $, Mile 32 along the Western Highway, has very good food and is just a 10-minute stroll from the field research station. It has large meals, low prices and skunky coffee. Have coffee at the research station as the stuff served here is terrible.
