Many of the passages along this cave system are so low you have to squirm through on your belly. Inside, some of the chambers have plaster floors. Petroglyphs depicting human faces and pictographs of handprints are etched into the walls of the cave. The remains of 11 people have been found in this cave system. A similar cave, found in 1999 near this area, is called Actun Holal. It has two entrances and carved faces inside.
